Those probably look like travel scams, right?
Some scams are really obvious, but other scams aren’t.
And any of us can fall prey to them, especially if we’re out of our element and we’re caught off guard.
The good news is that travel scams can be easier to identify if we know a thing or two about them.
And they’re just one aspect of travel safety that the modern traveler should know about.
Beyond scams, travel today can be boobytrapped with all sorts of risks.
Any of those can be manageable, however, if you practice some basic travel safety before you take off.
If you do, you could gain some priceless peace of mind. And you could end up having a better trip — and wonderful lasting memories of it.
P.S. What travel scams have you run into or heard about? How did you know it was a scam or how would you avoid getting conned by that scam in the future? Hit “comment” and share your story with me. I’d love to hear more about your experiences with travel scams and what you’ve learned from them.
