Do you think it’s OK to cheat on taxes?
Believe it or not, most folks do NOT like tax cheats.1
In fact, most of us are pretty serious about reporting and paying our taxes honestly. And we’re not doing that just to avoid audits or only because we’re afraid of potential penalties.1
It’s personal integrity — not fear — that motivates most of us to pay our taxes.1
And, the more we know, the more that personal integrity factors into our decisions around paying taxes.
There’s no doubt that taxes are complicated. There’s A LOT to know, and that can overwhelm any of us.
But if we start with the basics and we’re open to learning about taxes, we can discover much better ways to handle them.
And that can benefit us in several ways, both now and well into the future.
P.S. How do you feel about taxes? Do you feel the same about them now as you did 10 or even 20 years ago? Has that changed how you handle your taxes? Hit “comment” and share your thoughts with me. I’d love to hear more about how you think about taxes, how that may have changed, and how it impacts you at tax time.
